الوصف الوظيفي Job Purpose: As a Design Engineer – Tubing and Casing you will be responsible for designing downhole piping products to client specifications. Furthermore, you will be working within a team of engineers that will lead product development projects from identification of needs all the way to application. Also, your experience in downhole will allow you to give solid advice to anyone from management on strategic matters to the Site Installation team on practical matters. Job Description: Translate well conditions to pipe design considerations. Design tubing and casing pipes based on customer requirements. Develop know-how documentation related to design and installation of tubing and casing. Drive the identification, development, trials and testing, and implementation of new technologies related to downhole tubing and casing applications. Provide expert advice to Product Directors and Component Designers with regards to technical feasibility and design of tubing and casing. Provide expert advice to site installation team. Participate in technical discussions and meetings with clients regarding development of GRE pipes for downhole tubing and casing applications. المهارات Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, or similar. Five years’ experience in engineering, design and installation of downhole tubing and casing. Good understanding of well design. Familiarity with API specs for tubing and casing. Extensive knowledge in tubing and casing design considerations. Full understanding of the structural mechanics of downhole tubing and casing. Proficiency in downhole tubing and casing installation techniques. Experience in non-metallic tubing and casing design / manufacturing is advantageous. Job-Specific Skills: Ability to work independently within a team of engineers. Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written. Analytical thinking. Good insight in general engineering principles. Ability and willingness to understand and learn composite design. Ability to understand and link theoretical possibilities to practical limitations / possibilities. Proficient with MS Excel and preferably VBA. Familiarity with WellCAT is an advantage.
