I. Duties and responsibilities
- Ensures the work is carried out in compliance with the SHEQ requirements established in our organization.
- Carries out operational activities in compliance with procedures and instructions or orders.
- Mixes product according to customer specifications and formulas.
- Checks the order so that the correct product is mixed.
- Ensures incoming and outgoing lorries carrying raw materials (in IBCs and drums) are loaded and unloaded safely using a forklift truck.
- Ensures good housekeeping.
- Reports damage and unsafe situations to the On-Site Coordinator.
- Pays close attention to the applicable safety regulations.
- Contributes to the provision of our organisation optimal quality of service.
II. Job requirements
II.1. Knowledge
- Holds an SCC Basic certificate
- Holds an ADR Basic + Tanks certificate.
- Holds a forklift driver certificate.
- Holds an ISOPA certificate.
- Is familiar with petrochemical products and technical plants.
II.2. Independence
- Operates in accordance with work instructions.
- Receives orders from and is accountable to the On-Site Coordinator.
- Independently verifies whether the operations match the order.
II.3. Social skills
- Has daily coordinating contacts with the On-Site Coordinator and fellow Preblenders.
II.4. Language skills
- Has an adequate command of English.

- Ensures efficient and optimal operational performance.
- There is a risk of making mistakes when mixing product.
- Following instructions incorrectly can have financial consequences for our organisation.
- Wears Personal Protective Equipment for long periods.
- Exerts force when opening and closing couplings and valves by hand.
- Spends long periods in the same position during the execution of the work.
- Subjected to nuisance from vapours and chemicals.
- Runs risk of injury due to working with plant, couplings and connectors, and dealing with chemicals.
- Works for long periods on a forklift truck.

Must be accurate and vigilant in order to prevent calamities.
- Helps ensure that the operations are carried out in accordance with applicable procedures and SHEQ regulations.
- Must be accurate and vigilant when mixing product according to specifications and formulas.
- Must be vigilant when driving and manoeuvring forklift trucks carrying or passing chemicals.
- Must be vigilant with regard to forklift traffic.
