JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Picks daily allocated orders, checks incoming shipments and receives them to inventory, arranges the warehouse space systematically, carries out daily cycle count and reports anomalies if any to section supervisor for corrective action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in picking daily stock order transfers in line with the delivery schedule coordinating maximum workflow through warehouse team members.
2. Assist in receiving of daily incoming shipments and reporting discrepancies in receipts to section supervisor.
3. Conducts daily cycle counting to complete four full cycle count per year plus one year end count.
4. Arranges the warehouse space systematically and ensures security of the stocks in the assigned area.
5. Able to understand and work with strict policy and procedure guidelines.
6. Perform miscellaneous job related duties as required and takes charge of the section supervisor’s role and responsibilities in his absence.

• Quick learner, able to be trained on general warehouse practices and their control avenues.
• Able to work both in a team and independently to achieve the daily work priorities.
• Able to understand clearly directions issued by the section supervisor.
• Able to supervise and train subordinates, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all employees.
• Basic P.C. stock enquiry skills to identify if necessary individual item location positioning and stock levels.
• Ability to read and understand basic work safety procedures on site.
