Manager – Ticket Sales, Schools

الوصف الوظيفي
The Manager – Ticket Sales, Schools will engage with all private and public schools within UAE and work closely with the Expo 2020 Schools program department to engage with all schools within the Expo Schools Programme scope to facilitate reservation of schools journeys, payment collection and ticket issue, insuring a smooth ticketing operation for the current and upcoming bookings. This activity will be important in helping Expo 2020 achieve its visitor goals of 25 million visits whereby an extremely high number of visits will be managed through the official school programme.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Drive Ticket Sales and meet visitor target goals via Public and private schools and Universities;
- Work with the Expo 2020 Schools program department to maximize the number of school and university trips attending the Expo 2020;
- Work with Expo 2020 Destination Marketing to educate schools and universities on general information and commercial value of Expo 2020, and to promote the related packages;
- Insure a smooth ticketing operation for all the existing and upcoming bookings;
- Facilitate and manage the process of payment collection and ticket distribution for each school prior to visits;
- Contact international schools and universities to promote Expo 2020 as a trip destination and edutainment opportunity;
- Represent Expo 2020’s interests during one to one meetings and events with schools to stimulate ticket sales and achieve visitor targets;
- In collaboration with the event-time Ticketing Operations team, facilitate an excellent schools visit site access control experience Prepare all the required booking and revenue related progress reports for internal tracking in an accurate and consistent manner;

المهارات
6+ years of experience in facilitating B2B promotional relationships for large scale, globally important international events and/or corporate events as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business or Hospitality;
- 3+ years of experience in Destination Sales/Operations/Marketing;
- Previous experience with groups ground handling;
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer services skills;
- Able to represent Expo 2020 in a very professional and diplomatic manner;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Proficiency in CRM system;
- Detail oriented with high attention to quality;
- Ability to interface with employees at all levels;
- Ability to work long hours, holidays and weekends as needed.
- Experience with Schools and universities;
- Ticketing experience;
- Previous Expo or Mega Events experience (directly or indirectly);
