Manager – Rostering and Training

The purpose of the Rostering & Training Manager role is to lead the complete overview of staffing operations and training team within Transport, Traffic & Parking (TTP). In addition, to develop the TTP training modules and content to ensure the whole transport team will have enough knowledge to deliver their services at the level of service agreed with the clients. This position will support and work closely with colleagues from Contractors, Service Providers, Volunteers, Human Resource, Workforce, Training and Health and Safety areas to ensure alignment on all the hiring, outsourcing, training, attrition, motivational and retention plans. This role works closely with Accreditation and Uniforms areas.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Lead the complete overview of staffing operations and training team within Transport, Traffic & Parking (TTP);
- Develop and coordinate the staffing operations strategy for one of the largest department during pre-event and event-time;
- Design TTP staff journey (check in, briefing, equipment distribution, deployment, breaks, meal times, rotation, redeployment and check out times) per staff category – FTE, contractors and volunteers;
- Align the shift pattern plan with the peak times and days for the visitors optimising the resource utilisation across the site and between zones;
- Plan and lead the scheduling and rostering operation before and across the 7 months of operation;
- Develop training models and logistic strategy for the sessions to all new TTP staff joining during operations.

المهارات
6+ years of relevant experience as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree;
- Specific experience in programme planning and management
- Proven ability to deliver on the ground operations, and written reports;
- This position requires a person that has already participated for more than 18 months in two or more major events;
- Rostering and training experience in working in a multi-cultural organisation, MENA region desirable;
- Experience in working with Government partners and stakeholders.
