Qualifications
Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or radar technology. Specialized training and certification in each area of expertise with radars in general. Must have or be able to obtain a secret level clearance.
Experience
Must have a minimum of 10+ years experience on a wide variety of surveillance radars. Must have theoretical and practical knowledge and experience with radar operations and maintenance. The experience should include installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications to the radars. Overall experience with radars should include Air Defense Ground Radar, Primary/Secondary, all aspects of 3-dimensional radar plot extractors, height computers, and interface equipment. The technical should know how to work with antennas, processors, computers, monitoring, data transmission, plot extractors, power systems, and other sub-systems.
Duties
Supports the Officer-in-Charge by:
Actively advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty
Continuously monitoring of all training in his specialty and recommending improvements
Training Engineering Officers and Warrant Officers in practical and theory
Producing adequate engineering training material in his specialty
Performing intermediate level maintenance in his specialty as required
Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote radar sites to perform specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and training.

المهارات
4-year degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of related work experience.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Mastery of technical knowledge required to effectively resolve difficult and complex engineering problems for devising unique solutions to meet client requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to serve in a leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with team members, managers, and clients on difficult and complex engineering issues pertaining to assigned tasks.
