The “Graphic designer & data administrator” is a motivated and entrepreneurial-minded individual with a focus on growing the ecommerce business and establishing digital marketing best practices. The Graphic designer & data administrator collaborates with the online marketing manager & develops and exploits any opportunities, create best practices and standards to be employed.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. The right hand of the Marketing & Ecommerce manager
2. Is responsible for the graphic design of the website: Conceptualize visuals based on requirements. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand. Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
3. Ensure that the online experience is conducive to sales. Website works, it’s fast, it’s up and running, it’s secure. The products on the website are attractively presented, and the descriptions are accurate.
4. Coordinate all online promotions. Track the success of all promotions. Develop seasonal and annual strategies in-line with Sales objectives, Brand guidelines & Marketing calendar to achieve top line revenue targets as well as establishing digital uniformity for our portfolio of brands.
5. Gathering and using demographic data through web contacts and social media
6. Engaging in launching new products and services
7. Monitor and track the performance of all SEO & SEM (AdWords) initiatives.
8. Monitor customer reviews on the portal; E-City website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google.
9. Track all costs and revenue associated with the website so there is a clear P&L;for the website as its own standalone division.
10. Look at expanding the reach of the product lines & categories
11. Ensure with the IT team that the website is up to date & running without bugs
المهارات
Requirements:
1. Proven graphic designing experience. A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
2. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
3. A keen eye for aesthetics and details
4. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
5. Demonstration of team leadership experience, including cross functional team management
6. At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in digital strategy and channel development, required
7. Strong understanding of ecommerce and in particular consumer electronics
8. UAE Driving license
9. Must be strong in digital strategy, problem resolution, critical thinking, and navigating complexity
10. Must possess strong analytical skills and business acumen
11. Advanced knowledge and experience of working with online marketing; PPC (Pay per click), SEO & SEM (AdWords) marketing.
12. Excellent presentation & communication skills, both product & conceptual focused
13. Collaborate with internal and external departments/stakeholders and their respective processes, products, and systems to ensure consumer loyalty and engagement to drive profitable sales through relevant, targeted and strategic digital marketing activities
14. Develop online loyalty program
15. Map the Customer Journey & Improve Customer Service survey
16. Conduct training for the employees & Call centre
17. Capture online sales performance, understand what’s working/not working and provide recommended go-forward strategy to improved conversions and increase sales performance.
