Qualification and Experience
Marketing qualification to a minimum of CIM Certificate/Marketing graduate/Masters in Marketing/ MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Knowledge of marcoms practises.
Relevant experience in a marketing communications role, particularly PR. Event coordination & management skills are also essential.
Experience of working within an
international landscape, preferably Middle East.
Knowledge of digital marketing/ google adwords/digital ads along with conventional marketing
Knowledge of making marketing plan and budgeting, BSC matrix, Salesforce
Specific Responsibilities
Work with the GRM IME (India & Middle east) to develop and execute the marketing plan and particularly communications activity in support of MEA market needs and global marketing strategy.
Coordinate PR and Case Study agency activity across MEA, measure and update PR strategy and tactics in collaboration with agency and Manager.
With input from RSMs, write up relevant Siemon Success stories for internal publication and keep in database/folder.
Write regular articles about local news for publication in the global internal magazine and take help of PR agency where needed
Create and distribute monthly and quarterly direct marketing email campaigns in line with agreed requirements, ensuring that distribution list is kept up to date.
Working with Designer and IME Marketing, coordinate social media delivery and website/social media pages updates in the region as required.
Working with Designer and IME Marketing, provide Advertising options to RSMs and submit to GRM IME for budgetary approval and then progress through to placement.
Working with RSM and GRM IME, plan and organise seminars, exhibitions and events in the region.
Working with Complementary manufacturers, plan and organise seminars, exhibitions and events in the region.
Working with Designer/Vendors and IME Marketing, use approved local suppliers for the design, branding and production of new marketing material
Responsible for design, production and distribution of marketing giveaways within the region.
Coordinate locally held stock and delivery of marcoms deliverables.
Provide on an ad-hoc basis the needs for marcoms support requested by the ME sales team.
Ensure that all activity from the plan is measured, reviewed and evaluated against objectives and related reports are delivered in a timely manner.
Develop and deliver all other aspects of marcoms mix as appropriate to the plan with agreement of GRM IME.
Working with sales team and customers to continuously evaluate communications plans & strategies and to tailor those for the MEA market.
Maintain Salesforce campaign to track ROI
Responsibility for all office administration for the Middle East office. This includes but is not limited to: stationery and other local office supplies, paying monthly bills, keeping the office tidy, petty cash.
Other Duties
Work with and through other departments (with a focus on the sales team) including the US marketing team & India marketing team to create understanding of and acceptance for marcoms activity and the brand.
Work in collaboration with business partners to develop joint marcoms activities as opportunity occurs.
Internal communication activities.
Monitor and evaluate market and competitive communications campaigns. Achieve KPIs laid down for marketing
Write and implement marcoms procedures as applicable.
Additional relevant duties as assigned by GRM IME.

Strong organisation skills, ability to develop and execute detailed plans.
Can coordinate with internal and external stakeholders like RSMs Channel partners, vendors etc.
Can multi task and adherence to set timelines would be very important
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Quark, Coral draw or Adobe preferable but not necessary
Fluent written and spoken English essential. Arabic would be added advantage
Proven influencing and negotiation skills
