Manager International Substantive Engagement

الوصف الوظيفي
Manager International Substantive Engagement will be responsible for developing and overseeing the operational plans necessary for programming activities to be held during the 6 months event as proposed by NOPs.
She/he will be responsible for liaising and coordinating with EXPO departments across the board to ensure coherence as well as to ensure that all departments are fully utilized to feed into the substantive outcomes proposed.
Main responibilities of the role include:
- Develop and overseethe NOP calendar of proposed events as directed by the Head of the section, and ensure coherence with the wider EXPO calendar;
- Liaise with internal stakeholders with the goal of ensuring that all substantive engagements are accompanied by various interventions such as a media strategy, public engagement strategy, etc;
- Prepare a work plan and a timeline, including identifying all preparatory and logistical elements needed for events, track progress and report out against that work pla
- Provide weekly reports and regular updates as necessary to senior management on engagement progress;
- Escalate to the Head and VP all political or sensitive matters that requires senior management guidance and action, as necessary.

المهارات
- A Bachelor degree or higher in the field of International Relations, Political Science, International Business, International Management, other Social Sciences or Sustainable Development;
- At least six years of relevant work experience;
- Strong communication skills in the language of preference to the country as well as in English, both written and verbal;
- Strong project management skills;
- Strength and interest in an operational role, knowledge of international affairs;
-Knowledge of international affairs;
- Ability to maintain a pro-active relationship with all stakeholders, internal and external;
-Extremely detail oriented and able to track multiple streams of work simultaneously.
