Network Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
• Installation, operation, commissioning, maintenance and testing of the following according to best practices:
o Cisco Routers/Switches
o Network Security Standards
o Cisco firewall
o Cisco ACS
o Network Load Balancers (Plus)
o Wi-Fi Controllers and aggregators (Plus)
o Cisco Unified Communication Manager
• Responding to Incidents, and undertaking remedial activities to resolve the incident in accordance with the contracted SLA’s.
• Planning, scheduling and implementing Change and Service Requests in accordance with an authorized approval to implement services
• Perform network design and integration;
• Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions;
• Diagnose problems and solve issues in a timely manner.
• Provide service / network documentation for the clients or internally if required.
• Optimize network traffic, and provide level 2 support and troubleshoot of network, software and connectivity issues.
• Provide Support to other team members or projects when required.

المهارات
• Working knowledge of routers & Switches
• Working knowledge of Firewalls
• Working knowledge of VPN technologies
• Application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DHCP, NTP, STATIC, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP (I & E).
• BPDU Gard, Span-tree, VTP, VPN tunnel , PORT Security
6 years of experience in same field
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or any related studies
CCNP or CCDP certificate
