*Organization Purpose
-The primary purpose of the IT Department is to provide an excellent experience for our customers by the Agile delivery of the technology that they need in their everyday business lives. We aspire to be continually recognized as being the best IT operation in the Technology sector in the UAE, through delivering the Strategic Objectives of the organization.
*Department Purpose
-The Tech Ops mission is to provide secure infrastructure and managed services, through innovative technologies, solutions and practices delivered through AGILE methodologies by a highly skilled and motivated staff that will enable Company Group to deliver all of its services.
-The Tech Ops team is a critical enabler to DMG`s missions. It encompasses all activities associated with engineering, deploying, operating and defending DMG`s infrastructure, which comprises of multiple different technologies.
-The Tech Ops team has full responsibility of all DMG technology infrastructure, touching all elements of the estate (network, servers, storage, sensors, backup, etc.)
*General Activities-Take ownership for all tasks assigned, from the point they are assigned until agreement is reached; ensuring completion and bringing tasks to a logical closureCommunicate and report proactively with colleagues, leadership and others in the organization by using appropriate means of communication-Focus on time management by timely and quick completion of all allotted tasks; quick response to all communications; attendance in all meetings and appointments before the scheduled start time-Focus on self-development (for both technical and soft skills) by taking initiatives and leveraging the multiple platforms and opportunities at disposal and should be able to demonstrate continuous improvement-Comfortable working in an Agile Environment
*Functional Activities-Adhere to the patching process and methodology, ensuring that all nodes are patched within the defined SLAs-Install, configure and manage VMware technologies including, but not limited to, ESXi, vSphere, vCenter,vROPS, System Recovery -Manager, and related technologiesCreate, analyze, and manage resource pools, virtual clusters, security groups, permissions, virtual machines and their templates, and virtual networks-Coordinate patching cycles for VxRail patchingProactively administer to prevent Incidents-Responsible for documentation: Creation and review of low-level-designs (LLDs) and only review of high-level-designs (HLDs)-Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability-Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability-Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution-Collaborate with the Architects to understand upcoming application improvements, plan for changes, communicate back to the business

المهارات
-6+ years of experience in Infrastructure -Operations with minimum of 4 years of experience providing Tier 3 escalation support for legacy and current versions of Citrix and VMWare ESX;-Knowledgeable on Windows server and desktop OSs, networking devices, Active Directory, DNS, storage systems (EMC), SQL Server, Citrix, and VMWare.-Hands-on and working with key technology solutions and cloud platforms/ language/tools e.g. -CloudStack, OpenStack, AWS, KVM, libvirt, Chef, Puppet, Python, CMS, DynamicOps, API, etc-Advanced technical knowledge of enterprise IT architecture and management solutions, including virtualization hypervisors and desktop virtualization brokers, in particular Citrix, VMware ESXi, VSphere, vCenter, vRealize, vROPS, and Wyse Thin Client end points;-Knowledgeable on VMware Horizon VDIs.-Ability to perform physical-to-virtual migrations-B.E./ B.Tech. in information technology or B.Sc/ -B.A. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field-Must have VMWare: VCP or VCAP-Nice to have: Citrix - CCA,-Nice to have: Microsoft MCSE[PO1] Storage Expertise on EMC products is a plus
