Our client is a leading regional group in logistics & supply chain seeking to recruit a “ Business Development Manager” to handle the UAE & to be based in JAFZA. Position will be reporting to the General Manager Jeddah & Head of Operations UAE.

*Someone well experienced in the freight forwarding industry can have express background but he must be involved in selling trucking and transportation solutions*The candidate must understand the trucking operational business and have the skill set to ensure his customers are served effectively with the support of the team he is working with*5 – 7 years of experience in the UAE MarketSelling trucking transportation solutions and responsible to bring in new customers with a yearly target of 2M – 3M DHS*Strong time management and organization skills, no set KPI’s will be given as he will be managed by results*Identify customer needs and recommend solutions out of the company portfolio*Close deals with new clients while keeping good relations with existing clients*Track record in successful selling and closing business, a capable hunter*Understand selling on value and have a sales consultative approach*Professionally coordinate with implementation team and customer service*Meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals & closures*Support customer retention through active engagement with customer service and productEntrepreneurial, has ownership, resourcefulness, driven, focused and persistent in achieving goalsEnergetic, coachable and presentable with strong communication skills*Must be a mature professional with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership*Coachable Hunter, capable of identifying their opportunities and driving growth*University degree is a must
