The Company
The company is a trading company and a local distributor of FMCG products to hypermarkets and retail stores, and has close cooperation with their German business partners.
The Role
They are urgently looking for an Admin Officer / Accountant to be based in their office in Al Barsha, Dubai, UAE. This will be reporting directly to the Executive Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Handling and distributing incoming and outgoing post
First point of contact for visitors to the office, which will include meeting and greeting clients
Making travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels and car hire
Assisting the Team with basic administration and tasks including typing, photocopying, faxing and other clerical tasks
Assisting the in the administration of general office management including office utilities, services, cleaning and maintenance
Assisting with other admin duties as required

المهارات
At least 2-3 years experience in the UAE
Experience in Tally ERP software
Excellent communication and organization skills
Able to multi-task
Someone who can start immediately
