Database Intern
Quest Search & Selection is a Dubai Based recruitment business specializing in the Retail, FMCG, Hospitality and Digital sectors. We are currently looking for a Database Analyst Intern to be working at our Dubai office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Refine our databases through data extraction, coding and deploying for CRM.Database management- organizing, analysing and formulating lists.Managing/updating our CRM (Customer Relationship Management system.Creating reports, presentations and other marketing materials for internal and external purposes (heavy use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel)Creating/managing Excel spreadsheets of client and candidate informationCreate and maintain contact lists for direct email and e-blast campaignsResearch industry trends and help translate to actionable insight.Multi-task several different projects and work under pressure to meet tight deadlinesPerform basic IT-related troubleshootingWork to consistently high levels of ‘commercial courtesy’ in respect of all customers.Demonstrate a strong understanding of Quest’s values and objectives.Progress into creating adverts, designing graphics and copywriting content for social media or website.
Requirements for an Ideal Candidate
Passion for new media, digital marketing and innovationGood organizational and administrative skillsMust be extremely detail oriented with strong attention to follow-through Able to prioritizeGood IT skillsAble to work to deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Docs.Strong writing and research skills.Experience with HTML is a plus.Experience with social media, basic SEO and email toolsProficiency with email marketing applications like MailChimp or AdWeber is a plus.
Interns are likely to be:
Recent graduates or placement students.First language English.Someone eligible to work in Dubai.
This internship opportunity is most suitable for people based in the UAE who have just finished school or are studying a degree. As an intern, you will be reimbursed for travel and sustenance.
