Job Purpose
Based in UAE, the successful candidate will be part of the Dubai IT team. The role will require a strong communicator who is able to confidently work with the other members of the team.
Given the dynamic nature of Propel, the successful candidate will be flexible and willing to support the team in a wide variety of tasks according to immediate business requirements.
Technology
The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the evolution and maintenance of Propel’s proprietary web-based HR portal. He/she will write technical and functional specifications, program the software functionalities, implement bug fixes and support the testing.
Process Design & Communication Management
Technology is critical to Propel’s talent consultancy services. The successful candidate will maximise collaboration between the consultancy, operations and technology teams, manage expectations, and provide the best possible service to our clients at all times.

Educational Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in IT
Relevant qualifications in programming
Language Skills
English (native-level proficiency essential)
Multi-lingual desirable
Required Experience
10 years minimum in software development
Broad experience in software testing
Significant experience as part of an IT development team
Desirable Experience
Knowledge and experience in HR Technology Systems
Knowledge and experience in UI design
Knowledge and experience in API creation and web-services integration
Skills & Knowledge
Microsoft ASP.Net (Framework 2.0 and above)
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Visual Studio
Team Foundation Server
Advanced communication skills – specifically presentational and written skills
