• Maintains an active customer profile database to ensure all relevant details are up to date when required for analysis or campaigns
• Conducts regular customer/field visits to assess business requirements and maintain healthy relationships to ensure top customer satisfaction levels.
• Achieve/Exceed monthly/annual sales target while maximizing the profitability of the vertical by focusing on both the net sales and gross margin earnings. This includes utilizing discounts as a tool to close deals.
• Ensure that the customer’s expectations always meet or exceed the set standards.
• Awareness on competitor activities/their products and discuss the data with the Business Development Manager to facilitate the necessary strategic planning by the management.
• Document and maintain all records in the deal file as per the SOP
• To ensure that Monthly over dues are not more than agreed target
Performance Indicators
• Achieving the mutually agreed upon monthly sales target
• Submit complete Sales Trackers (reports , such as daily call/visit/quote reports, weekly sales planner ) on specified regular periods.
• Minimum Acquisition of 3 Customers per month with agreed GP
• Customer Satisfaction Scores/Index
• Frequency and quality of the data provided to the Business Development Manager through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
• Accuracy of deal packs
• To be within the mutually agreed upon overdue limit

7+ Years of relevant experience in a similar role/capacity within a reputable freight & logistics organization.
Candidate should posses excellent overall market knowledge
Customers & their volumes basis trade lanes
Target Verticals
Candidate should have experience in dealing with customers at all levels (Direct Shipper, Freight Forwarders etc)
Candidates should possess excellent knowledge on widely used shipping lines from UAE, their services & pricing structures
Proven track record with in the Sea Export Market is a must
