Deputy Workshop Supervisor (Fuel Nozzle Section)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, and assemble fuel nozzles, to ensure they meet customer requirements.
- Examine fuel nozzles for defects such as visible external damage, leaks, internal cracks, weld cracks or porosity, and incomplete welds.
- Display competency in Penetrant Testing and visual inspection techniques.
- Effective use of inspection devices such as borescopes, micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications, verifying specified dimensions of parts and bills of material.
- Make judgments on inspection findings, document inspection results, report findings to Engineering and assist with technical evaluation of components.
- Repair parts as instructed using specified hand tools and mechanical devices.
- Independently operate and/or troubleshoot flow testing equipment and monitor displays and operation to detect malfunctions.
- Ensure product meets or exceeds internal and customer requirements.
- Record and collect data and information needed for records.
- Properly clean and/or contain any spills, leaks, or overflows of hazardous materials.
- Perform other such duties that may be required.

Required Skills
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent;
at least three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Good English language skills needed including the:
Ability to read and comprehend technical and HSE instructions.
Ability to write and understand technical reports.
Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram from.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Desired Qualities
Candidates must be flexible to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
Experience with inspecting, repairing, & troubleshooting is required.
Ability to work off of blueprints/work instructions.
