We are currently recruiting for a Financial controller for a leading construction group delivering turn key special projects in the UAE.
Position: Financial Controller
Report to: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Dubai, U.A.E.
Job Purpose: Single handedly manage the P&L;for various project and guide the finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage all finance & accounting operations for the group & project level
• Responsible for the short and long-term planning and the management of the finance operations to achieve or meet / exceed financial goals of the Projects Managed
• Coordinating & directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variance
• Consolidation of financial statements of Holding and subsidiary companies and providing the report on Consolidated Financial Statements to the Management on Quarterly and yearly basis.
• Reviewing the internal control and system by formulating internal audit strategy and recommend management for corrective measures.
• Analyze, interpret and communicate financial operating results to provide information and guidance to Board of Directors and provide technical support as and when required.
• Supervise and train department personnel to ensure development of their full work potential.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Financial Projections, cash flow reports and profitability
• Treasury management
• Drive Continuous improvement, innovation and excellence.

Required Skills:
• 8-12 years of experience
• Experience in similar industry is preferred (Construction, Engineering, Real Estate Development etc.)
• Excellent Team Leader
• Qualified – CPA/CMA/CPA/ACCA
• Foster a professional and ethical work environment.
• Set safety and quality as top priority.
