IT Application Integration Support

A new international American school by a leading education organization is seeking an IT Application Support Staff. The IT Application Integration Support Staff will ensure quality execution and delivery of IT application support the school, including setup and configuration and training. The IT Application Support staff will report to the Head of School and Group IT Head.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who has a background in an educational or school setting and can liaise with the teaching and administrative staff and play an active role supporting all relevant school software and integration of the various systems to ensure a great end user experience and data flow. Additionally need to provide support for the Apple and Windows hardware as needed.

Profile and Essential Skills:
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with end users, peers and senior management in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal skills required with ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be a strong team player
Develop project implementation plans and gather user requirements and specifications for application integration and development
Provide Macbook and PC trouble shooting support, local area network support and be part of the helpdesk support for classrooms as needed
Manage and administer the school management system and be familiar with custom development of windows/web based forms in the selected school management system
Administration and management of school communications (sending text messages and emails)
Maintain a customer service oriented attitude, to get the task accomplished in a timely manner
Provide support after hours and on weekends as necessary
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with customization and support of school management systems and other relevant school applications. Experience with the implementation and on-going support of Powerschool is required.
Need exceptional experience with Macbook, PC Desktop/laptop troubleshooting along strong local area network troubleshooting skills
Strong Experience in web-based application development and very strong scripting skills (Powershell, Apple Script)
Experience in Cloud based application development (O365, Google Apps, Integration of different cloud services to client server based systems)
Experience in various school related software systems and integration of the systems (Bridge-U, Follett, Schools Buddy, Access Card System, etc.)
Application level trouble shooting and basic to intermediate knowledge about hardware level trouble shooting
