The position requires experience in hotel hospitality operations, preferably with a background in pre-opening, opening and continued operations. The IT PM will be responsible to source and research multiple systems per category, present them to the business in order to make informed decisions, then carry them through development and implementation with an IT team.

Description
Sourcing and Research:
The following categories of software shall be required to operate a successful high-end boutique hotel and need to be researched and selected. The sourcing and researching parameters are set as follows:Tasks:
Source 3 companies in each category noted below.Compile an analysis including but not limited to:
Overview of the systemsTheir functions relative to the required functions and operational brief of the propertyTech support capabilitiesSimilar projects they are used in to this hotelOne time and operational costs
At the end of the analysis a formal report and recommendation in each category shall be submitted to the Project Manager and Ownership.
Categories (includes all Software & Hardware associated):
Hotel Property Management System (PMS)
Reservation SystemsCheck-In/Check-OutHousekeepingProperty MaintenanceRate ManagementAnalytics/ReportingActivities Reservations (Spa, Activities)
Credit Card Processing
GatewayProcessor
POS System
F&BSpaActivities;(Sports, Boats, Etc)
Property Management System (infrastructure based)Customer Relationship Management (CRM)Employee Time Clock, SchedulingServer Systems (to be coordinated with Project Manager and IT Team)
Development & Integration
Once each category has been analysed and decided on by Ownership, a development and integration plan is to be created and executed.This shall be in coordination with the Project Manager and IT TeamThe Analyst will be the lead to execute all integration and implementation
Testing
Once the Development & Integration has taken place, testing of the systems and their integration must occur and be coordinated with the PM and IT Team.A reporting log shall be created to monitor all bugs and issues associated prior to be ready for launching.
Launching
Once all of the previous categories are completed, the system shall be launched and immediately monitored. To be coordinated with PM and IT Team.
Operating & Monitoring
If the contract work above has been successful, the position can carry over into operations.
Profile
Pre-opening of a high-end hotel of at least 12 months in the IT and operations departmentOpening and operations of a high-end hotel of at least 3 years in the IT and operations departmentDeep knowledge of hotel hospitality & food & beverage based operating software systems along with PC and Mac based operating systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced and self-motivated environment. The role will require to liaise over video conferencing with remote team members and make several trips to the property overseas.Bachelor degree in relevant fieldGood English language skills
