We’re running an Online Hiring Event this Saturday to hire SVPs of Sales ($400K/yr).
Online Hiring Events are live forums designed to enable you to understand the role and requirements through an interactive Q&A;session followed by a self-directed testing process. The testing takes between 3-5 hours to complete. It’s worth taking the time to finish all the tests because we evaluate every single complete application to find the top talent.
This event will include all testing required to apply for the role. Upon grading the tests, and if you advance, we will set up an interview with the hiring manager.
The SVP of Sales will be managing a high performing and continuously improving sales enterprise software and solutions team, with a minimum annual contract value of $1M USD deals. The SVP will use her/his strong hunter pedigree to bring new logos to our customer base overcoming the competition and creating strong customer relationships.
The SVP of Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s sales function. As the organization’s senior-most sales leader, the SVP Sales is accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy. The SVP Sales reports to the COO.
The SVP of sales will have a proven ability to manage a variety of activities end-to-end, including net new sales, renewals and do constant listening in on calls and give daily coaching to her/his team. The SVP will work collaboratively with the Leadership board to attain weekly KPI’s leading to set aggressive goals in quotas and driving team performance towards them.

Skills and experience
15+ years of high-performing individual contribution in enterprise software or solution net new sales from a top software sales organization. A star “hunter” pedigree
Managed a minimum team of 30 sales reps
Minimum ACV (annual contract value) of software sold of $1M USD
Experience leading in an underdog environment with a roster of wins against better-known competitors
Multiple experiences implementing or strengthening sales management processes
Demonstrated experience working with geographically dispersed and/or remote teams
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Technical or advanced degree, such as an MBA, from a top-tier university
Behavioral characteristics
Process-driven manager with little tolerance for substandard performance and zero tolerance for lack of effort
Performance and metrics driven
Takes a consultative approach to selling value rather than solely taking a transactional approach selling features/units
Confident in always set aggressive goals
Excited to join a very fast pace organization with aggressive weekly goals and metric oriented
A “player/coach” manager who is unafraid to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done;
Zero aversion to actually doing work
