Job Title : Sales Executive – Cloud based IT Solutions – SFA/BI/FMCG/Consumer Goods experience (only candidates with previous relevant experience in UAE need to apply)
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for young, entrepreneurial and self driven sales executives to plan, implement and drive the sales strategy for our cloud based solutions targeting customers in the FMCG/Consumer Goods/distribution space to enterprises in the UAE and GCC regions. The base location is Dubai.
The primary market for this industry leading SFA solution with over 200 customers globally is mid to large companies in the FMCG, consumer goods, distribution space. The ideal candidate thus needs to have a good understanding of cloud based solutions in the domain, and have existing connections of selling enterprise level solutions (preferably SFA/Analytics etc) and ideally come with a background of having led sales for similar solutions to key customers.
This role encompasses new business development (including hunting, cold calling, pipeline building) and customer account management, and working closely with our inside sales team and sales leadership. The role focuses on prospecting, winning customers, ‘closing’ opportunities and ensuring that resultant projects have been correctly defined and are delivered (i.e. to ensure that we avoid failed projects). It also focuses on developing long term sustainable commercial relationships with customers.
The position would start with a 4-6 month contract maturing into a full time permanent role based on success. Growth path would be to handle and expand our business into wider regions such as Africa, wider ME region and also help expand and develop the teams.

Broad Functions:
• Prospecting, Qualification and Development of Sales Opportunities
• Develop detailed customer account plans identifying and managing customer opportunities
• Obtain and qualify prospects in the Middle East
• Ensure that opportunities are identified, qualified, developed and managed effectively through to closure of a sale.
• Prioritize effort on identified and agreed key opportunities.
• Use management support and guidance where required.
Sales Presentations
• Present our solutions and capabilities to current and prospective customers, with appropriate Presales technical demonstration support where required in presentations.
• Work closely with the Technical presales team and other personnel to ensure that presentations are relevant to the audience and are in line with the overall sales plan for the customer/prospect.
Proposal Development
• Prepare proposals and tender responses targeted on winning customers and their business. This will include outline of solutions, our approach, plan and costs and ‘why us’. Work with or get the support of other personnel where required in preparation of these documents.
• Demonstrate some level of technical understanding in these proposals and as such be able to negotiate and qualify the value of our solution offerings. They would be expected to be familiar with the PDD (Project Definition Documentation) along with technologies and solutions being recommended to the customer
• Present the proposals at a detailed level to the customer; this will include using other personnel where required.
