As part of their continued growth, an award winning MEP Building Services Consultancy are looking for an experienced BIM Leader for their Dubai office.
The BIM Manager will be responsible for the planning, design, delivery and operation of as-built assets which will include creating BIM Execution Plans that meet the Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs) and also providing an overseeing role for the Revit / BIM Team which is currently a team of six individuals.
You will also assist in the implementation of BIM across all the other offices and advise on current workflow, strategies, budgets, projects and resource levels to ensure flawless project delivery and the highest levels of client satisfaction.
As the BIM Leader / BIM Champion within the group you will provide and advise the board of Directors on training needs, emerging technologies, new tools and be responsible for managing your own P&L;for BIM and Revit and also suggest when projects require additional services to be outsourced to one of our trusted partners or bureaus.
Given the nature of the role it is expected that the BIM Leader will have at least six years’ experience in Building Services and have ideally worked for a contractor or developer and a consultancy. Previous experience in establishing BIM standards , templates and families is essential as is the willingness to roll your sleeves up and assist with supervising the work of the Revit Technicians when required.
