Responsible for developing and maintaining an optimal demand & supply chain end-to-end process with a focus on outbound supply to support the MSD Animal Health operation in the region.
Role and Responsibilities
• Demand and Supply Planning Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly/quarterly calculation of demand requirements and Organizing all shipments in line with company requirements
Timely preparation of import and export documentation and preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all relevant stakeholders / Meet established departmental KPIs
Regular communication with customers on pending POs / Backorder status
Weekly Visual Management Sessions and Backorder Review Meetings
Co-ordination and participation in Monthly S&OP;meetings
Verification of all freight/ storage invoices and reconciliation vs. contracted rates
Co-ordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify potential problems and decide on appropriate action plans
Respond to ad hoc issues related to procurement and inventory / temperature excursions
Follow up with manufacturing sites on all orders / Change of delivery schedules
Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicate to all relevant departments;
• Special Project Responsibilities
o Identify potential projects to deliver changes and improvements to the supply chain and commission select projects
o Support on New Distributor related Projects
• Invoicing / Documentation Responsibilities
o Invoicing and SC documentation handling for Dubai including packing lists, COA, COO, FSC and GMP certificates for all customers / Create delivery notes / Create Pro forma Invoices and Post final Invoices
o Post sales invoices / price changes / Maintenance of system data requirements and ensuring integrity of information at all times
o Report monthly sales performance and provide weekly sales updates to all stakeholders
• 3PL Management Responsibilities
o Monitor inbound and outbound shipments from site to 3PL and 3PL to customers
o Support with Monthly reconciliation of inventory and Slow Moving inventory with 3PL
o Inventory correction in SAP of expired products at 3PL
o Annual physical inventory of stocks at 3PL
• Trade Compliance and Auditing
o Maintain appropriate records for quarterly and annual audits
o Identify and manage risk within the supply chain
o Address tactical and strategic supply chain issues
المهارات
Education & Experience :
• Language skills: Fluent in English
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in demand planning, procurement and logistics in the area of Pharma/FMCG
• University Degree preferably in economics or commercial science
• Strong computer skills in Excel and SAP
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight schedules
• Strong organizational and administration skills.
