We are looking for a Café and Restaurant Manager, with good knowledge in Specialty Coffee Industry, to lead all aspects of our business.
You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
Cafe and Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the shop’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
We need effective management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. In addition, hiring qualified Baristas, Chefs, and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food and coffee prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.
We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment and being a role model of the staffs in enforcing the belief and mission of the shop. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant experiences.

Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House operations.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop restaurant staff, including hosts, servers, chefs, baristas, and dishwashers.
• Handle paperwork and other administrative duties.
• Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
• Maintain stock levels and order supplies when necessary.
• Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from employees.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, bar utensils, and cleaning products.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage shop’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events.
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads).
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• All other tasks handled by a Manager.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
• Have good knowledge in Specialty Coffee Industry.
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently, as well as lead, manage, and motivate a team.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure.
• Analytical skills and a solid understanding of business management practices and strategies.
• Keen problem solver eager to tackle challenges in an organized and strategic manner.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working in a restaurant environment.
• Candidates with prior experience as a manager are preferred.
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
• Lead all aspects in Business Development and create new opportunities for business in wholesaling, events, participate in festivals, PR and reviews etc.
o An incentive of 10% will be added to pay grade for any new business establishments
• Able to develop the brand and the coffee standard.
• Strategize for new market opportunities locally and GCC.
• Coordinate effectively with overseas coffee roasters.
• Manage wholesaling effectively in the region.
• Advise accordingly on shop related concerns with GM (Owner).
