The Junior Accountant will be an integral member of the Middle East finance team. Based in Dubai, the role will provide financial support and deliver expertise on travel expenses while also fulfilling other accounting and analytical functions.
The Junior Accountant will be expected to take these responsibilities as mentioned, drawing audit expense reports and sharing them with the rest of the finance team. Process expense reimbursement and general accounting are also included.
The Junior Accountant will be working in a team and will be reporting to the Manager. Since the company has a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere, the ability to perform high volumes of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy is expected.

The ideal candidate will have to possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal understanding of English is required, communicating issues and suggesting improvements independently and proactively is admired. Showing excellent customer service orientation, having attention to detail and being well organised and prioritised are skills that are essential. Teamwork is an essential skill but also the ability to work independently in absence of daily supervision is required. The ability to anticipate, identify and solve critical problems, exercising sound judgment and initiative is a skill that is desirable.
Key Competencies:
· Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
· Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (preferably within a multinational environment)
· Proficiency in English and MS Excel
· Experience in Oracle and Business Objects preferred
· Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP
