الوصف الوظيفي Developing and implementing the strategy for all relevant categories in the region. Develop local market category plan in line with global & regional category strategies & plans for the brands. Undertake market analysis to monitor industry trends, regulations, sub-categories performance and retail channels, and determine brands segment share. Determine category key drivers (product, price, and retail channel) for the category to expand presence consistent with local demographic and retailer needs. Contribute to regional / global discussion of the category on behalf of the local market. Key responsibility to identify, assess, negotiate and execute new business development initiatives across South Africa, expanding category revenues with new partners, through new channels and for new age and gender segments Expand brand presence consistently with retailers’ needs Category and Sales development responsibilities cross sub categories. المهارات Deliver against the regional annual financial targets. Forge strong relationships with key partners to fill product gaps and continually grow our market share. Support business development initiatives Drive and implement the brand franchise strategy with relevant key accounts Implement the category strategy through Global Regional and local licensing deals, including DTR’s agreement and distribution deals with International partners. Regular contact with relevant buyers, departments (e.g. Marketing) at retail Seek out additional growth opportunities Develop, implement and achieve yearly revenue budget (wholesale sales and royalty revenue) for respective set of licensees. Work very closely with Key licensees & Retailers across all aspects of distribution, promotions, pricing, product development, and sourcing. Identify & contact new licensees instrumental in the development of the category (including global and regional licensees). Secure geographical expansion throughout the region. Focus on the key territories Update forecast on a monthly basis (Excel spreadsheets for renewal, new, gap with status update). Drive Contract Renewals consistent with Category Plans and strategies. Team up with the product development team to drive the relevant offer and ranges of compelling products in line with brand priorities. Secure and improve existing licensee’s business, initiate & launch proactively new products, ranges, projects and properties Ensure thorough understanding and compliance of the brands contract, terms and conditions with partners Product Development Administer and coordinate licensee’s product / artwork approvals with Product Development team. Work closely with licensees on their category assortment plans. Finance Provide forecast of the category on monthly basis (revenue grading). Responsible for collection past due accounts receivable. Responsible for the administration and execution of the contracts for all licensees in the region.
