ROLE SUMMARY
The position is required for a period of 4 months as a maternity cover. This role holder is responsible for supporting HR initiatives/projects for Averda Group with primary focus on Total Rewards, Global Mobility, Performance Management, Talent Management, HR Process Design and Employee Communication.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Total Rewards & Global Mobility:
o Provide the hiring team and local HR with market salary ranges as per Global Pay decks and support them with salary fitments as and when requested
o Compute expat packages for international assignees in Africa in line with Averda’s Global Mobility policy and share pay proposals for HR & Business review
o Consolidate required manpower data for any potential Tender submission in GCC & Africa
o Remain up-to-date on innovative HR practices and trends, particularly in the area of compensation and benefits/rewards
o Engage, when required, with external rewards service providers
• Performance Management:
o Manage the PM tool end to end to ensure employees’ queries are resolved
o Ensure regular progress updates are done by employees
o Support employees with queries regarding the Career Planning tool
o Assist in rolling out the quarterly feedback cycle
• Ensure monthly submission of the HR & Admin Cost Saving & Expense tracker to the Chief Talent Officer
• Policies & Procedures: Work closely with the external partner to review and finalize the current HR policies and procedures and submit to the internal Committee
• Talent Review & Succession Planning:
o Assist the Leadership team to undertake a detailed assessment of their talent alongside the business strategic goals, identify areas of strength and potential gaps, develop succession and identify a diverse pipeline for critical roles
o Consolidate all Talent Review profiles and Individual Development Plans; share with COO/Functional Heads/Regional MDs for calibration and review
• Consolidate employee success stories and key HR initiatives globally for submission in the monthly newsletter
• Support the Chief Talent Officer and HR team with employee communication design on a periodic basis
• Extend support with adhoc/new projects that may come up during the period

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Human resources
• Minimum 4 years of Rewards/Global Mobility/Corporate HR experience, preferably from reputed Global HR Consulting firms
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills – articulate and tactful in written and verbal communications
