Operations Manager

About the position
As a manager in the Operations team, you will drive the growth and efficiency of Geeks’ consumer base and will report directly to the Head of Operations. You are expected to strategically manage and grow the day-to-day operations by allocating resources and parts efficiently, improving our daily conversions, maintaining a high customer service and executing lean process improvements to operate at a healthy margin and turnover.
You obsess over metrics such as basket size, repeat ratio, conversion rate, gross margin and customer ratings.
Roles and Responsibilities include
- Own the end-to-end service delivery execution, operational metrics and process improvements; drive and deliver initiatives to lead and grow the consumer segment of the business.
- Lead a large team of Geeks to improve their efficiency and expand their training to deliver impeccable repairs and support with the highest quality and customer service.
- Monitor and improve the conversion rate and response time of the CS team.
- Provide recommendations and take actions based on strategic objectives, forecast and performance metrics.
- Identify sales and discount strategies to improve the basket size and repeat ratio respectively to achieve the quarterly revenue targets.
- Track the performance metrics of each Geek and schedule timely meetings to discuss opportunities and issues.
- Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks and map improvements to deliver higher efficiency and output.
- Act as the point of escalation for the CS team for any conflicts or pending issues with clients and maintain a high overall rating on social accounts.

Skills / Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in an operationally-intensive role.
- Demonstrated success in a rapidly-growing organization.
- Ability to problem solve and identify solutions in high pressure situations.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Evidence of being a “Top performer at previous roles”.
- Self-ownership and continuous improvement are key.
