Essential Responsibilities:
During the program GE will provide assignments, projects & tasks that is related to his/her major where the intern can develop Leadership Capabilities, communication skills and introduce him to the work environment Basic Functions:

Support shipment process (operational process) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons to support the logistics process controllers and material planners.

Follows processes, seeks areas of improvement that contributes to overall TAT.

Interact with the storefront team members, service providers, suppliers to make sure that contribution is timely ensured in the process to avoid delays.

Follow a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain data and accurate information in ERP and convert it in a meaningful format and share on regular basis and provide visibility as well as tracking to the entire stakeholders.

Use and maintain the ERP and MS Excel as the primary data system tool. Provide input to the team suppliers and logistics service providers in coordinating and expediting shipments of items.

Closely coordinate and communicate delays, agencies, critical parts and report process improvement areas with stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements:
3rd year or 4th year university students Should be a student during the internship period. Students who already graduated earlier this year or graduating prior to the internship period will not qualify. GPA: Minimum 3.0 candidate must be studying in the same country as the location of the internship (as we do not provide sponsorship or visa)Good leadership skills. Excellent communication skills. Good Interpersonal skills Education/Training:Business administration, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or logistics Licenses/Certificates: APICS or other aviation related certification preferred Others:

Logistics Coordinator is expected to demonstrate proficiency in logistics, and TAT performance measurement methods with an understanding of their inventory, financial, production and operational impacts.

Knowledge of Oracle related ERP related to supply chain management is preferred. Experience in other software packages including Windows, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel and Vision is essential.

This position requires strong coordination and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the supply chain and operational process.
