School of Modern Skills, Dubai-UAE is looking for an outstanding TOK, Extended Essay Advisor (EE) and Creativity, activity, service (CAS) Teacher.
We are proud to apply the IB program in our High school.
The school is seeking a capable and dedicated individual to join their team and make a difference. The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills for dealing with students, parents, teachers, and support staff and should be organized, energetic and self-directed.
You will be able to excite and challenge learners to make rapid progress and will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning. We are looking for someone who is passionate about raising learners’ individual achievements with innovative ideas to build on existing good practice.
As an EE teacher, you need to have exceptional research skills , is able to discuss choice of topic with the student and, in particular, help them to formulate a well focused research question that satisfies appropriate legal and ethical standards as well as ensuring that the research conforms to the regulations as outlined in the Extended Essay Guide relating to essays written in the subject area. In addition, you need to be able to provide the candidate with advice and guidance regarding the skills necessary to undertake the research of the question and topic chosen for the extended essay.
As a CAS teacher, you need to be able to Lead by example and inspire others with vision and creativity, support the strategic plan and vision of incremental, professional development, exhibit high levels of personal and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate excellent organization, administration and analytical skills
