• The Sales and events coordinator role will entail proactive and reactive sales, business development, client relations, running events, generating quotations and invoices relevant to each event and clients specific requirements.
• Ensuring alignment with business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Direct and project manage events (delegating responsibility where required)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, obtaining feedback for business improvement.
• Supervise events from initial client introductions through to event execution.
• In consultation with the chefs construct menus for clients and where necessary lease with chefs to customize specific menus as per the clients requests.
• Working with Elements preferred suppliers and sourcing new suppliers when necessary to plan and execute all production and event requirements.
• Create and work on an extensive database of potential clients in order to gain new local accounts.
• Providing leadership, guidance, expertise and management skills in a manner that fosters collaboration, engagement, motivation and overall performance.
• Report activities and results along with all upcoming event details through staff meetings and sales reports
Business Strategy Development
• Identifies new business opportunities by remaining up to date with competition and industry trends.
• Attend networking events and conferences to obtain connections and industry insight
Business Strategy Execution
• Determine and evaluate the appropriate measures of success of Elements business strategies.
• Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategies.
• Experiment with new ideas and take calculated risks to exceed customer expectations (in consultation with Managing Directors and Operations Manager)
• Identify business issues, determine system improvements and suggest implementing change
Sales & Marketing
• Drive sales, research and develop opportunities and sales plans, along with keeping up to date with industry and market developments.
• Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
• Identify improvements in booking procedures, to increase guest preferences.
Leadership
• Serve as a passionate brand ambassador, ensuring brand strategy is consistently delivered through customer experience
• Lead and influence staff by demonstrating exceptional work ethic
• Addressing service failures or customer complaints and expediting it to the managing Directors and Operations manager to resolve the issue.
• Identify business requirements to strengthen the team
• Identify and recognize outstanding employee performance
Business Information Analysis
• Assist Managing Directors by analyzing business information to identify success and opportunities for improvement; market share, financial performance, inventory, employee engagement and customer satisfaction
Revenue Management
• Assist Managing Directors in establishing revenue strategy that supports brand positioning in local market, ensuring demand forecasting and sound revenue practices are in place to maximize profit
Compliance
• Ensure legal compliance with occupational health and safety
• Ensure staff uphold brand product and service standards

• Exceptional organisational, problem solving and decision making skills, with the ability to thrive in a high pressure environment.
• Sales background

• Able to organize events in addition to role responsibilities
• Energetic, committed, self-dependent, team player
• Leadership skills
• Ability to think creatively and conceptually
• English fluency is a must
• Strong MS Office suite skills and abilities
• Driver’s license
