Within the Elevator Technology Business Area, thyssenkrupp Airport Systems is in charge of manufacturing passenger boarding bridges (PBB), leading the world’s market of PBBs and has a strong presence in Europe, the ME & Americas.
According to the company needs thyssenkrupp Airport Systems, S.A. - Middle East is currently looking for experienced and qualified Maintenance Technicians to be working with us. At the moment, we have vacancies at three different locations: Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
The main job duties of the Maintenance Technician are the following ones:
1. To perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on daily basis.
2. To troubleshoot and rectify cooling issues of PCA units on daily basis.
3. To be aware and provide quick response to PBB breakdowns while on operation duty on circumstantial basis.
4. To take corrective actions on electrical breakdowns of PCA’s and PBB’s on daily basis.
5. To prepare and keep right tools for right jobs, such as bypassing sensors or limit switch’s control cables using multi-meter. If necessary adjust the voltage using load bank on daily basis.
6. To find remedies of alarm triggered in GPU by reading information from display given in the unit on circumstantial basis.
7. To use PCA integrated laptop (accessible software) to check the status of working compressor, low and high pressure reading, hot gas system status, defrost interval set points, alarms and temperature settings such as outlet temperature, cabin temperature and ambient temperature, airflows status etc. on circumstantial basis.
8. To communicate with Duty and System Engineers regarding work progress and follow instructions from them on daily basis.
9. To perform weekly checks and daily checks of PBB, PCA and GPU units.
10. To create work orders, progress and closing after completion through Maximo report in computer on daily basis.
11. To responsible for all those tasks given by Department head.
