Senior Accountant

Danfoss is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant who will be responsible for all Accounting activities including: preparing and analyzing account reconciliations, determining and completing month-end close activities, and process review tasks which ensure AP-AR-GL guidelines/controls are operating effectively.
The position is located in Dubai (UAE)

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries for AR-AP and GL transactions

Monthly closings and preparation of monthly-quarterly financial statements and reporting

Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts

Prepare VAT computations and returns

Assist with payroll administration

Account/bank reconciliations

Review and process expense reports

Manage preparation and coordination of the audit process

Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

Account reconciliation process on monthly basis

Create standard procedures for operation

Support business departments in accounting - financial topics

المهارات
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts accounting-finance

Technical knowledge of accounting regulations, policies and procedures

Able to take initiative and responsibility

Strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel and other software (tally Accounting Software knowledge will be asset)

Fluent English

Detail- and deadline-oriented

Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information

Written and verbal communication skills
