Purpose:You will be responsible for the end-to-end product life cycle for the digital trading platform, the first of its kind in the soft commodity trading industry. This includes creating the design concepts and partnering with engineering to implement. You will initiate and prioritize projects and develop the product strategy and go-to-market plans based on an iterative implementation strategy influenced by user experience testing, platform performance metrics, business goals, and customer enablement.
Responsibilities:
•Drive the continuous development of a cutting-edge digital trading platform loaded with features and functionality that allow customers to have an etrading experience unparalleled in the industry.
•Drive our next generation digital capabilities by bridging the business objectives, technical advancements, and customer preferences.
•Work with marketing, sales, sourcing, logistics, and finance to ensure client-facing requirements are tightly integrated and enabled in new product/feature delivery.
•Collaborate closely with development team to manage the release process, balance functionality and feasibility, and manage the implementation timeline with a keen understanding of the underlying architecture.
•Overall responsible for roadmap, prioritization, market and competitive intelligence, requirements, adoption, training, presales support, and marketing support.
•Take accountability for the realization of the product vision through product delivery, company enablement, and customer/partner adoption.
•Engage customers, prospects, partners and industry resources to determine business requirements, technical considerations and strategic objectives.•Capture and document market needs and product requirements necessary to succeed in the markets we serve through use cases, personas, cross-functional deliverables.
Tasks:
•Create an annual product roadmap, to make recommendations for optimizations versus enhancements; manage and maintain product roadmap materials and presentations
•Drive product development with engineers and designers; we are open to having you bring in design teams driven by user experience.
•Identify trends in the commodity trading industry and integrate into digital platform roadmap.
•Travel and participate in industry exhibitions, to garner live user experience feedback.•Develop written materials as appropriate for documentation.
المهارات
•Minimum three years of experience managing the development, implementation, and performance of Mobile/Digital products required.
•At least one year of experience applying Agile development methodologies like Scrum and planning tools.
•Experience in Trading and/or Commodities platforms highly preferred; understanding of eCommerce and payments platforms, including money movement, can complement.
•Strong understanding and working experience utilizing design-thinking best practice—empathy, requirements definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing to deliver digital experiences.
•Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap; which must be based on a strong understanding of web technology fundamentals.
•Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with engineering and operational teams and making technology related product decisions.
•Ability to link product developments to business results.
•Proficient project management skills to manage and execute to roadmap.
•Ability to lead product vision, strategy and feature decisions across geographically dispersed teams is essential.•Obsessive attention to detail.
