Software Development Lead

الوصف الوظيفي
• Responsible for developing certain platforms within Autodata product portfolio from ground up.
• He should demonstrate an excellent development skills along with extensive knowledge about building and managing scalable web based applications and high traffic e-commerce sites; this includes but not limited to, identifying infrastructure requirements, designing application architecture, preparing and maintaining design documents, workflows, flowcharts, coding, etc.
• Understand the entire technical architecture for Autodata product portfolio while being able to contribute in future developments or projects when required.
• Capable of understanding and developing technical solutions from the scratch by going through various stages of designing, coding, testing, bug fixing and deployment.
• Develop and customize applications by adding new features or build custom applications when required.
• Analyse and resolve technical and application problems.
• Propose frameworks, technologies and standards for development of current & future products
• Manage controlled outsourcing and/or virtual teams when required.
• Ensure quality of work and data provision to clients through the development and implementation of best practices, procedures, security and standards.
• Analyse Autodata client technical needs/concerns, propose suitable solutions and/or customizations to enable seamless integration and use for Autodata products.
• Provide technical advice about change requests, best possible solutions that saves time and money.
• Provide regular and effective progress updates and work closely with senior management to mitigate any risks or issues related to ongoing development projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training for junior software developers and act as point of reference to provide guidance on resolving development issues or challenges.
• Prepare reports, product manuals and other forms of documentation about the status, operation, and maintenance of Autodata software.

المهارات
• University’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in web application development from reputed companies
• Experienced in Object Oriented Programming concepts, MVC frameworks, LAMP stack, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML and Web Services
• Experience in building reliable high-traffic web based applications and e-commerce websites
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling and process optimization
• Experience in managing virtual teams and third party vendors
• Experience in Agile or Scrum application development methodologies
• Experience in mobile application development
• Experience in front end design will be a plus point
• Experience in Amazon Web Services, shared or dedicated hosting
• Experience in Laravel and/or CodeIgniter frameworks is a plus point• Good understanding for SEO techniques and digital marketing methodologies
