JOB OVERVIEW:

The Junior Transportation Modeler is the position who assists in transportation modeling and traffic operation analysis tasks. The duties specified below are characteristic of the range of duties and responsibilities assigned to this position, and not intended to be an inclusive listing.

Conducts demographic and estimates trip generation.
Codes roadway and public transit network.
Applies travel demand matrix calculation.
Prepares alternative analysis and model runs.
Supports senior staff in large scale corridor and regional studies.
Supports in collecting, analyzing and interpreting transportation data.
Conducts traffic operation analysis.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Traffic, Transportation Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
Preferably with Master’s Degree in related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant traffic and transportation design and planning.
Preferably with significant experience in UAE or Middle East.
Proficient with standard computer spreadsheet, word processing, presentation software, transportation planning software including VISUM, VISSIM and Operation Analysis Software, and techniques and methods. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
