This role is for an IT generalist who is always seeking to improve their skills, up to date with the latest technologies and who can adapt to change and is fast thinking and can offer out of the box ideas and solutions.
The position will require the candidate to provide pre-sales support to the sales team, attend customer meetings and present designs and architectures.
The ideal candidate must have broad IT technical knowledge as well as business presentation skills and the ability to perform on the spot, quick thinking solution design and support for customers and the internal teams.
The candidate should be familiar with the latest cloud managed technologies.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Design & support services to the sales and support teams
Health checks on deployed or supported environments
Architecture solution designs and validationR & D on new solutions and technologies to assist the teams in meeting customer requirements
Support and maintenance of the internal IT solutions including server maintenance, services support for Office 365 and support for the internal office IT equipment
Maintain vendor relationships i.e. Dell, Cisco, Microsoft and NetApp etc

The ideal candidate will be able to design, deploy, support and manage the following vendor solutions and incorporate or replace current or legacy equipment or software.
x86 hardware infrastructure – Dell, HP and Cisco
Storage solutions – EMC, NetApp and 3Par
Networking and firewall solutions – Cisco, Meraki, F5, Cradlepoint and Barracuda
The candidate must have experience in designing, deploying and supporting the following applications and services.
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange
Office 365 & Microsoft 365
Backup Solutions – Various
Cloud Based backup and DR solutions
VMware
Microsoft Hyper-V
Veeam Backup & Replication
