Medical Coder

Hiring Medical Coder with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in urgent care/ Emergency department in a hospital setting, based in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately code and abstract urgent care/ Emergency department medical records, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with Physicians & other medical staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures for accurate code assignment.
• Review patient records to verify completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation.
• Stay updated on coding changes and industry best practices to maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity throughout the coding process.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ urgent care/ Emergency department coding experience in a hospital environment based in Abu Dhabi.
• Certification required CPC or CCS.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Only Certified and experienced in urgent care/ Emergency department coding can only apply for this position.
