A leading name in Civil Contracting business, is looking to hire a Cost Control Engineer for their office based in Abu Dhabi.
• Candidate should have 10+ years of experience in Civil Contracting Co. in UAE as a Cost Control Engineer.
• Should have experience in reviewing project budgets in coordination with PM(s) prior to joint sign-off as per set approval procedure.
• Monitor and analyze budget utilization (money and quantity).
• Monitor project change control process and flag/report on implications of changes.
• Follow-up with PM(s) on periodic Cost-to-Complete (CTC).
• Review and endorse CTCs and submit for approval as per set approval procedure.
• Follow-up with PM(s) on Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), and review and endorse the same.
• Review and endorse progress and cost/schedule baselines and forecast prepared by contractors, and cost bases of Contractor’s change proposals/orders.
• Support in developing/reviewing cost-corrective actions and recovery plans and monitor implementation.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to generate budgets and reports.
• Should have strong experience in Civil Contracting costing and cost control of Civil Contracting projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Working Days: 5 days a week
