Job Profile:
Are you a driven and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you at RAK IDO! As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing the IT Maturity of a portfolio of companies, developing action plans to improve, and for developing and enforcing policies and procedures. You will optimize the IT infrastructure, including cloud and services, and ensure resources are shared where appropriate and feasible, leveraging synergies and economies of scale across companies. You will also provide technical advisory and support as required.
Key Skills Required:
• You will need hands-on experience in the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-centric and on-prem IT Infrastructure and solutions in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS configurations.
• You should have deep technical expertise and experience in working with Amazon AWS or MS Azure with understanding of optimally using compute, storage, and networking resources.
• As part of our team, you will contribute to the development and improvement of the IT Maturity Assessment framework and fine-tune IT infrastructure investments to synchronize IT to become agile and nimble across the portfolio.
• You will also play a critical role in developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable backups and DR strategies for the enterprise, as well as building and supporting mission-critical technology applications.
Required Qualification:
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields and 6 or more years of experience in a similar role are also required.
• Certifications in cloud architecture would demonstrate your commitment and prowess in the domain.
