Safety Officer

Safety Officer Job
Requirements:
• Continuous inspection of project site, to ensure a hazard-free - environment
• Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans
• Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality
• Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs
• Conducting investigations on accidents
• Manages all communications with government departments in regards of safety
• Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managers
• Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans
• Solid knowledge of local safety codes
• Must be proficient in producing reports using the relevant software
• Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated
Qualification:
• Health safety and environment or Occupational health and safety
• Minimum HSE & OHS Bachelor degree with 3 years of work experience in same field or relevant
• Minimum HSE & OHS Diploma with 5 years of experience in same field or relevant
• Safety Certificates
• A human resources certification offered by the Society for Human Resource Management
