Job summary
Amazon Payment Services is a leading Payment Service Provider in MENA region with operations spanning across 8 countries and technically integrated with 17 acquirers and 25 issuers, offers online payment services to more than 3000 merchants.
In line of our main strategy of, leading innovation and resolve payment frictions and challenges; Partnership team main objective is to secure, sign-up and manage the working relationship with partners such acquirers, issuers, schemes, Alternative Payment Methods and Third Party Providers.
Key job responsibilities
• Own and building new revenue streams through finding and onboarding third party partners
• Proactively manage working relationship with new third party partners
• Create and articulate value propositions around APS offerings for third party (vendors, service providers, plug-ins)
• Develop long term strategic relationships with key vendors to maximize APS core offerings and services
• Pitch APS services to external partners and merchants by defining new value-added services
• Working closely with legal to negotiate and sign all agreements
• Partner with various cross-functional teams (finance, tech, business development) to create baseline foundation to optimize organization affordability, calculate commercials and incentive creation
• Finding and implementing automation protocols and processes to improve on manual turn around
• Setup and conduct workshops and trainings with external and internal partners
• 8+ years of professional experience in business development, relationship management in a metrics driven environment
• Strong knowledge or experience working in the payment or banking industry
• Business diploma or a higher degree.
• Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills.
• Strong work ethics and works well under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals including external partners
• Master’s/ MBA degree
• 10+ years of relevant exp
• Experience in the MENA region.
• Arabic language skills
