My client is a leading Cloud computing company based in the heart of Abu Dhabi and is looking to expand its data teams.  With this, they require a Data Analyst to identify trends or anomalies, track indicators, test strategies, and tackle challenges by extracting insights from data.

The successful candidate will have at least 5-8 years of solid experience in Data analysis with a variety of data sources, along with strong knowledge in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports.

You will also have worked with dashboard/report development, and Big data projects with a variety of challenging data.

Responsibilities:

- You develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Proven expertise in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Experience filtering and cleaning data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

Required skills:

- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages such as Business Objects; databases such as SQL; programming languages such as XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
