SOC Analyst L1

SIGMA IT is hiring SOC Analyst L1 for one of the governmental sectors in Abu Dhabi as the following requirements
SOC Level 1 Engineer:
Job Description:
• 24x7 monitoring for the security events to detect the known as well as unknown attacks and raise the alerts for any suspicious events that may lead to security breach
• Trouble shoot knowledge based information, then response to incidents.
• Prepare the Daily/weekly/monthly customized technical reports that summarize the list of security incidents and approved changes on security devices.
• Exploring on internet to know more about incident related information.
• Doing weekly security devices backup.
• Doing Basic health checkup for Security devices, then log HP ticket to Level 2 Engineer if there is any warning or error message.
• Monitor spam and Quarantine mails, then report the result to Level 2 Security Engineer to do the right action
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge of SIEM Solution (HP Arc sight & McAfee) and understanding of knowledge base.
• Basic Networking knowledge
• Basic Security device management understanding
• Basic Anti-Virus and Mail traffic Management skills.
Recommended Trainings:
• SIEM product trainings
• CCNA training
• Firewall training (Palo Alto & CISCO)
• Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam training
