About the job Procurement Manager
Our client is a leading government insurance company in Dubai. They are looking for a competent Procurement Manager to lead their Dubai procurement Team.
Preferably someone who can join immediately
Responsibility:
Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
Preparing procurement reports
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
Proven experience managing supply chain operations and leading a procurement team
Experience using supply chain management software and tools
In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
Experience in preforming RFPs exercise and reviewing contracts
Good communication skills
Computer Application Skills: MS Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
Excellent management and leadership skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
