The Specialist - Health and Safety is responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate application of HCT Environment Health and Safety approaches, policies, procedures and processes on campus. He/she inspects the campus to monitor the health and safety of students, staff and visitors. He/she is also responsible for assisting campus personnel and students in understanding Environment, occupational health and safety hazards.
المهارات
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Occupational Safety and Health.
Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in Health and Safety or any relevant field.
Minimum of one internationally recognised Health & Safety certification (e.g. NEBOSH).
Full English proficiency is required.
Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety procedures, programs and protocols.
Skill in performing safety inspections and ensuring compliance with MoE , ADPHC , FAHR Environment Health and Safety standards.
Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures.
