Job role is to implement Toyota Motor Corporation’s (TMC) Kaizen Programs in Sales, After Sales and back office in assigned BIT branch to kaizen cultivation for all members. Need to present to Toyota Motor Corporation and other GCC Distributors progress.
Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning “change for the better” or “continuous improvement.” It is a Japanese business philosophy regarding the processes that continuously improve operations and involve all employees. ... The concept of kaizen encompasses a wide range of ideas.
Below are the job responsibilities:
Develop process flow charts to explain current and desired process.
Conduct time and motion study and analyse it at both Macro and Micro level and develop process improvement proposal.
Implement Kaizen action to improve quality of services, generate productive time, cost reduction, NPS, Job explanation to customers, Sales / Aftersales SOP penetration, Advanced problem solving by Toyota Production system approach, process with time management in BIT branch.
Organize small group activities to provide training to associates and gather their feedback.
Compilation & creation of reports to visual status of activities on weekly basis + Monthly BIT Board in branch
In all actions retain an alignment to the company vision for Customer and Employee engagement.Focus on Kaizen objective of NPS, generate productive time/lead time reduction, and actively participate in all Kaizen activities at initial stage so branch members be able to find and solve problems by Kaizen.
Driving the BIT activity with enthusiasm and energy in the allocated branch through initiatives and ensuring management attention and support when needed. Sometimes cooperation work w/ Aftersales Division HO.
Comply with company and distributor policy towards achievement of objectives and targets.
Establish communication across all managers and staff in BIT branch and all departments and divisions in Al-Futtaim HO, and to foster understanding and consensus.
Assist with the orientation, training and coaching of staff and colleagues to achieve workplace efficiency and safety

Main Requirements and details of the role:
UAE National with a family book
Main base location for the job will be RAK or Fujairah
Must be willing to work on a rotationary basis with 2 days spent in each location of RAK, Khorfakkan and Fujairah
This is a 6 day working role - Saturday to Thursday with a holiday on Friday
Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm including lunch break
Must be willing to visit all areas of our service centres for inspection and report (e.g. car washing area)
Ideally must either have a background in automotive/ mechanical / process improvement functions
Someone with a Six sigma certification or similar quality improvement certification would be an asset
