Job Summary
Leading Sales & Operations planning of the category with rolling projection on business performance. Ensuring alignment between Commercial and Manufacturing team through Demand and Supply review. Sustaining OTIF service level through optimized Production planning & scheduling and MRP without compromising on working capitals, DOIs and obsolescence.
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP;)
Facilitates alignment among all stakeholders across phases of S&OP;to arrive at consensus numbers
Ensure Sales and Operations are aligned with Quarterly goals for Modern and General Trade across region
Identifying future business risks and engage executive team for timely resolution
Review progress of new product launch plan, strategic initiatives & operational excellence projects
Demand Planning
Lead short- & medium-term business planning, rough cut capacity planning and new product launch plans
Deriving consensus demand based on baseline & intelligence inputs from Sales and Marketing team
Update forecast model parameters to minimize bias error between base and consensus demand
Review multi-level forecast accuracy and identify gaps & causes to initiate required action plans for mitigation
Ensuring adherence to target CVFOT, Delivery OTIF, DOI FG, Inward OTIF and warehouse utilization
SLOB analysis and liquidation plan in align with Finance, S&M;and category owners
New Product Launches:
Partnering with Sales & Marketing to ensure timely phase-in & phase-out with minimal write-off risks
Track product life cycle of new SKUs to align sourcing and inventory levels across different stock points
Organizing quarterly SKU rationalizing exercise to ensure smooth transition and minimal RM/PM/FG write-offs
Supply Planning and Production Scheduling
Review and improve inventory aging, availability index, DOI, SLOB SKUs, OTIF, CCFOT and CVFOT KPIs
Predict stock shortages or out of stock situations and accordingly implement replenishment plans
Maintaining planning drivers as safety level, EPQ, MPQ, transit times, process capacity, shipping constraints
Troubleshoot production issues by optimizing Master Production Schedule at manufacturing sites
Simulate rough cut capacity planning for 3 months rolling forecast for make/buy & contingency decision making
Material Requirement Planning
Responsible for procurement of 900+ raw & packaging material and maintaining target RM/PM DOI
Sharing 6- & 12-months rolling forecast of RM/PM with suppliers and ensuring capability to fulfill the requirement
Generating MRP on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to trigger purchase orders and rescheduling ordered shipments
Review arrival schedule of inward shipments and develop mitigation plan in case of any risk and delays

Qualifications:
Business Graduate / Bachelor of Sciences or Engineering
MBA in Supply Chain Management (Preferable)
Work Experience:
Min 3 years of relevant experience
FMCG / FMCD experience
Knowledge & Skills:
Continuous Improvement and implementation of SCM initiatives
Manage and monitor plant operations efficiently
Forecasting models and Demand Planning
Manpower allocation skills, Line Efficiency, change over optimization skills, Utility Management, Ensure cleanliness around production environment
Inventory management and working capital control
Knowledge of ERP Tools
Knowledge of various inventory management models and related Pros & Cons.
