Key Responsibilities:
Write content for both print and Web, including the company website, blog, brochures, and newsletter.
Draft high-level communication external and internal for all RAKA stakeholders.
Respond to all RAKA social media inboxes with the branded tone of response and directed to the concerned department/person.
Implementing the monthly marketing and communication activities as per the marketing and communications strategy.
Monitor RAK Academy social media and online reviews and ratings.
Recommend techniques to improve RAKA’s public image.
Coordinate meetings, press conferences, and presentations.
Writing and distributing detailed press releases, promotional social media posts, and fact sheets.
Cultivating strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage.
Scheduling press conferences and public events and coordinating interview requests.
Working with the MarCom Manager to implement campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness.
Maintaining an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media.
Support the marketing department’s initiatives to plan, execute, and track marketing programs such as email, event, social media posting, or content marketing.
Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts.
Conduct market research and identify trends.
The successful candidate will have :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or
a related field
3-5 years of experience in marketing
Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to
detail.
Bilingual strong Arabic and English including written skills, as well as outstanding
copywriting and proofreading skills.
Advance level MS office skills Power Point, Excel, Word and Project Management
Flexibility to work some after hours and over the weekends to cover events.
Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social,
digital, and email marketing.
Be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks,
and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
High level of creativity.
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator,
Photoshop)
